- These are pretty cool features that will make it hard for Kia's new electric vehicle to compete with Hyundai's latest car, making the latter a better option when it comes to comparing their interiors. But there is some good news for Kia. The IONIQ 5 will cost £45,000, which includes the UK's plug-in car grant.
- IONIQ 5 is equipped with electronically adjustable ‘Zero-Gravity’ front seats. The seats recline to the optimum angle, offering a weightless feeling for the occupant, hence the name ‘Zero-Gravity’ seats. Hyundai reduced the thickness of these front seats by about 30 percent, providing more space for those seated in the second row.
The Hyundai Ioniq 5 pure electric crossover has been revealed. It is the first model under Hyundai’s new Ioniq electric sub-brand. The Ioniq 5 is built ipon Hyundai’s dedicated BEV architecture called Electric-Global Modular Platform (E-GMP). This platform will also underpins the upcoming Ioniq 6 sedan and the Ioniq 7 SUV.
